Implementers Are Productive
Implementors Learn As They Go
More than any other Creative Expression, Implementors avoid
ambiguity. They establish a direction and keep doing the
activity until it proves inadequate to the time and/or
circumstance. They love doing the same thing over and over,
primarily to see how fast they can do it this time. This game of
trying to get the most out of the least is driven by their need to
be economical. Waste is a thing they abhor. Not completing an
activity means they have failed. This is one reason they are so
protective of the activities they do. Implementors excel in
hierarchical organizations where the rules are established and
clear. They consistently focus on achieving results. They also
succeed by cutting unnecessary activities. Repetition allows
them to get better and more effective. Because they are driven
by Intent, they always seek to implement exactly what is in their
minds. Sometimes this makes them (like Visionaries) a little
idealized about exactly how the outcome should look.
Implementers Are Organizers
Implementors Simplify Everything
Like Compassionates, Implementors commonly seek the most
common and easiest solution. They avoid complexity wherever
possible. They like to categorize and organize themselves by
activities and processes. They measure their self-esteem by
their facility to get things done. Being the most masculine
energy, they focus primarily on outcomes and not on the effort
expended. This means individuals who try hard get no points
from them. Their biggest obstacle in the world are Inventors
who tend to want to remake or re-conceive processes the
Implementors already believe work. What they rebel against
most is people making changes in the process without proving
(on their own assembly line and on their own time) that they
can perform this activity better or faster. They also rebel
against Inventor activities that do not take into account whether
the process is sustainable or not. The polar opposite nature of
these Expressions actually come down to Implementors being
time-centered and Inventors not even being time focused.
Implementer Momentum
Implementors Push For A Set Direction
Implementors, more than any other Intelligence, realize that
results come from persistence and momentum. They want to
jump in and move things forward by breaking down obstacles
in their path. This focus on Intent is what makes them both
great and dangerous. Sometimes their directions can be a
surprise for others, in which case others learn to get out of
their way. When Implementors combine their focus, it creates
synergistic activities with even greater momentum. Since
Implementors are often the primary lieutenants for
Orchestrators, it is usually the Orchestrator who sets the
direction. However, the more actualized the Implementor. the
more likely they will set the strategy and tactics for how
momentum is utilized. People who get in the way of an
Implementor's momentum frequently get flattened. In an
Implementor's life, momentum gradually builds up as they go
from organizing their physical reality to organizing their mental
reality and, finally, their spiritual destiny.
