Orchestrators, more than any other Creative Expression bring a sense of gravitas to any group of people who want to do big things in the world. They become the grounded center who organizes all activity to fulfill the mission of the group. They naturally gravitate to large projects no one has previously done. While they have been mainly found in centers of finance, in recent years, they have also become technology leaders. For Orchestrators to become effective coordinators they have to be seen as the final check and balance before activity is taken. They, therefore, select lieutenants who can distinguish what is important and who need the Orchestrator’s approval from those who can not. Orchestrators have difficulty completely delegating to their lieutenants. They always keep some form of control or check and balance in pay so that any unusual issues get flagged for their attention. In recent years there has been an upsurge in women Orchestrators. They can be found not only in small businesses, but as community coordinators.
