Patterning (Sage) Intelligence
Storytellers Initiate By Entertaining And Grabbing Others' Attention
Storytellers seek to bring relaxation and rhythm to others. They
accomplish this with an innate sense of timing and knowing
how to shift Context to unify possibilities. As a comedian or a
business leader, they find the common points of motivation to
shift people into action. The key for them is to take
responsibility for their influence over others. The less
responsible they are, the less they serve the groups they build
or support. Storytellers need to learn not to become too
identified with their groups, or the groups do not grow.
Storytellers have the tendency to get caught up in
Objectification issues, trapping them in selfish personality
needs. They need to learn to creatively connect rather than
build their egos. The more Storytellers see the big picture, the
less they fixate on petty issues. Communication is the best
way to show a Storyteller how much you love them.

Right Human Relationships
Storytellers Seek Proper Human Balance
Behind all Patterning creativity is the desire to bring out the
best in everyone in every group. This is why many Storytellers
speak up for the disenfranchised or disempowered in any
group. They seek to address not only imbalances in groups
but in society, particularly when it comes to power structures.
It does not bother them that people inherently have different
degrees of influence and power, but whether or not they have
the power to speak and be heard. Storytellers teach others to
use a Common Neutral Ground. They see it as a great leveler
of the perceptions of power so everyone gets a fair shot. They
also tend to equate dignity with justice and the ability to
speak. Storytellers get in trouble when they idealize certain
forms of communication and do not listen to the unique needs
of a particular group. Storytellers' skill increase, as the
group's size increases. Right human relationships, where
there is a natural integrity to what is being said, is what Sages
live for.

Storyteller Creative Magic
Storytellers Find A Sweet Spot Where Their Integration Skills Empower Creative Flow
As Stoytellers get to know the patterns of a group, they also
know where there is dissonance or harmony with any person,
idea or plan. When Storytellers use this information to
maximize their Creative Flow and minimize the fear and
reactions of a group, they are using Creative Magic. Creative
Magic occurs from the alignment of rhythms that activate
positive reinforcing cycles while minimizing dissonance. At
this level, the Storyteller becomes a harmonizing agent who
keeps the group moving forward at a certain momentum. The
more this process can be ritualized by building positive habits
in the group, the easier it is for Storytellers to use Creative
Magic. Creative Magic best functions when a Storyteller is
Creative Magic
trusted and respected by members of the group for their ability
to unity group activity. When this occurs, they become the
grounding agent who specifies when to initiate new activities
or cycles. Synergy is the result.
